National Autistic Society 

The National Autistic Society Isle of Wight Branch are a group of parents with children of all ages. The focus of their work is on helping individuals and families affected by autistic spectrum disorders (ASDs) to get the help and support they need in our area. They also organise events - including coffee mornings and cinema screenings - and welcome local families to their groups.

Rainbow Club Downs Syndrome and Special Needs Support Group 

The Isle of Wight Rainbow Club has it's own website! To visit it click the link above.
The group meets fortnightly at Ryde and Newport on Saturdays.

A local ADHD Facebook Support Group has been set up at for parents and carers of someone with ADHD, and also anyone affected by ADHD/ADD is welcomed. Kaleidoscope, a group for parents and children under 5 who have special and additional needs, holds sessions at The Sandown Centre, The Fairway, Lake, every other Wednesday morning.
